Definition
If you are running a Q-SYS Designer Software (QDS) version earlier than v7.2.1, you might find that when you open Configurator, you get a "Failed to Resolve LoadLibrary" error and QDS then quits. This happens if your computer is running certain build versions of Windows 10, as updates to Windows causes issues with Configurator in older versions of QDS.
Solution | Workaround
The workaround is to use Configurator in QDS v7.2.1 or later. If any network configuration is required on a Core running firmware earlier than v7.2.1, just open a newer version of QDS, open Configurator, make the changes, and then use the older version of QDS of any design work, manipulation, deployment, etc.
