Summary

• Asset Description: The Panopto plugin for Q-SYS enables Q-SYS to control Panopto remote recorders that are setup in Panopto Cloud.
  • The Panopto Q-SYS Plugin allows users to manage their video streaming and recording with ease. Users can enter their Panopto credentials and select their remote record ID to connect to the recorder instance. The plugin displays the connection status to the remote recorder and allows users to view upcoming recording schedules, as well as create new recordings. Users can start recording sessions, whether scheduled or ad-hoc, stop sessions, monitor recording status, and extend sessions, if needed. This plugin aims to provide a comprehensive solution for managing Panopto streams and recordings directly from the Q-SYS platform.

Summary

• Send mDNS network requests and review responses.
• Getting Started:
  • After installation, add the the mdnsclient module to your design using Design Resources:
  • In the menu bar, Click Tools > Show Design Resources…
  • Select mdnsclient from the list of modules and click “install module”
• The mdnsclient module is now added to the current design. The plugin requires the mdnsclient module be installed in the design to run. Add the plugin to the design schematic to use:
  • Drag the mDNS Client plugin from the Utility folder into the design
    • The responding mdns devices will be listed. Note that some network configurations may not allow mdns multicast messages.
  • Start the Design
  • Select the network interface and enter a query string, such as `_ipp._tcp.local` for printers or `_http._tcp.local` for http servers
