Summary

• Asset Description: The Generic Display plugin enables power on/off, input selection, volume up and down, and mute on and off of the makes and models listed below. Custom devices can also be setup, and custom strings can be used for commands that are not included in the generic command list or the supported displays.

  Note

  Please note that proper setup of the displays, per the manufacturer's instructions is required for the plugin to function properly. If you are having issues, please reference the relevant instructions for setting up the display to be controlled by a control system. It is possible that some displays from a manufacturer do not use the same commands as others. We have done our best to provide the basic controls that will work across product lines, but proper validation testing should be done on the specific displays to ensure that compatibility issues do not impede functionality.
