Updated at July 1st, 2025

Procedure

This guide explains how to send multiple Q-SYS camera streams simultaneously to Zoom Rooms. This process requires one Q-SYS USB bridge-capable device per camera stream. Please refer to Zoom Spaces Certified Hardware for certified Q-SYS cameras and USB Video bridging devices under the heading ProAV Camera

Initial Setup

  1. Drag each Q-SYS camera and USB Video Bridge in your design, and wire them accordingly.

  1. Physically connect a USB cable from each USB Video bridge to the Zoom Room computer.
    1. You can verify that your computer meets Zoom specifications for ingesting multiple video bridges on the Zoom Rooms System Requirements page.
  2. Enable Allow Multi-Camera Mode in the Zoom Room admin portal. This setting is found under Room Management > Zoom Rooms > [Room Name] > Room Settings > Devices.

  1. Check the box next to the additional video bridge(s) you would like to enable.

    Note

For the purposes of this article, we are leaving the default camera mode as Manual.

Maximum Stream count can be configured depending on how many video bridges you wish to send to the Zoom Room computer, pending hardware limitations of the Zoom Room computer and how many video bridges are installed in the system.

Zoom Rooms Settings

  1. On your Zoom Room Controller, navigate to Settings > Camera and verify that the additional bridges are enabled under Multi-Camera Mode.

  1. Start a call and you will now see a Zoom Room control labeled Switch Camera. You can use this control to switch the primary camera you are sending to Zoom Rooms. You will also have the ability to control each camera individually using Zoom Rooms native UVC controls.

Multiple video streams will now be sent to your Zoom Room and seen by remote participants.
