If migrating from older versions to Q-SYS Designer 9.5 or higher and using Component.New() scripting method to access scripts, plug-ins or other components, ensure script access is set to “Script” in the component properties. 

If you are using 3rd party control system that uses the QRC API or the ECP API, set your script, plug-in, or component to “External”.

Use the “All” setting if the desired script, plug-in, or component needs to be controlled by both scripts and other 3rd party/external protocols.
