Procedure

  1. Plug the LEFT Booth output of the DJ mixer into the CP12 input A.
  2. Plug the RIGHT Booth output of the DJ mixer into the CP12 input B.

Note

Make sure the MIC BOOST for the CP12 input B is disabled or turned off.

The CP12 sums the two A and B inputs to a mono signal as it hits the amp module. This doubles the input voltage, resulting in a +6dB bump in level at the amp module.

To compensate for that increase in level, you can decrease the gain for each input by -3dB on both the A and B inputs. To do this, rotate the gain knob counter-clockwise three tick marks for each input on the CP12.
