Procedure

Use the following steps for adding Hard Links in Q-SYS Designer Software:

1. In Q-SYS Designer, click on the File menu.
2. Select Preferences.

3. Select Hard Links in the Preferences window.

4. Set the communication mode as needed.
   1. UDP
   2. HTTPS

5. Click +.
6. Fill in the IP address for the Core needing a Hard Link connection.

7. Click OK.

More Hard Links can be added by repeating the steps. Cores with Hard Links should now be discoverable by Q-SYS Designer.
