FAQ | If the Q-SYS NV-32-H network video endpoints are connected to a managed network switch, what are the minmum configuration requirements (latency, bandwidth, etc) for the switch port?
Answer
The Q-SYS NV-32-H network video endpoints operate on the same switching and infrastructure requirements as Q-LAN audio (see Q-SYS Networking Requirements ). However, high-bandwidth switching backplanes and non-blocking switches can help to increase the number of network streams that can be utilized on the same network. When transmitting network streams across multiple network switches, it is important that the uplink between switches can accommodate the intended number of networked video streams being distributed.
