FAQ | Do I need to physically parallel speaker outputs for CX-Q Series amps?
Answer
CX-Q series amplifier output configurations are programmed via Q-SYS design deployment. As the file coding alters the configuration based on the design needs, there is no need to physically alter the output wiring.
When the output is configured as ABC or ABCD paralleled, internally they are wired together by using relay contacts. We recommend using the Output B terminal. Output F is our similar recommendation for the EFGH combination in 8 channel amplifiers.
Note:
While other terminals would work, they are not optimized for heavy output current flow. For example, using terminal B has only one hop from either terminal. Using terminal C, output A will travel two hops.
