FAQ | Will I be able to configure VLANs on the Q-SYS NS Series network switches if necessary?
Find out if it's necessary to configure VLANs on Q-SYS NS Series network switches.
Answer
Yes, you can configure VLANs. However, based on the advanced switch configuration developed by QSC, there should be very few instances where a VLAN is required.
Note
If you go into the configuration to add VLANs, the default IGMP and other management functions that QSC has configured will not exist in any new VLANs.
Therefore, it is highly recommended that you use only the original, unedited switch configuration. QSC is only able to assist with support inquiries when an NS Series network switch is running the original, unedited configuration.
